1. Question: Is this product stand alone or do I need other software to run your product?

 

Answer: There are two different options of GeoMap:

 

GeoMap Standalone Application

GeoMap as plug-in for AutoCAD Map 3D or

AutoCAD Civil 3D

So if you have AutoCAD Map 3D or AutoCAD Civil 3D you only need our add-in, otherwise if you don’t have those products you can purchase GeoMap Standalone Application which is full compatible with AutoCAD and does not require separate AutoCAD licence.


2. Question: What does it means “Network license”, which is available only in with GeoMap as plug-in?

 

Answer: If you have AutoCAD Map 3D or AutoCAD Civil 3D network license you can install the software to necessary amount of computers at the same computer network, but at the same time with program can work only so many users for how many licenses you have. 3. Question: What kinds of traverse adjustments are available?

 

Answer: GeoMap has possibility to adjust closed or elongated traverse, calculate hanging traverse coordinates. Travers is calculated with one of these Horizontal adjustment methods: Compass rule, Transit rule, Crandall rule or Least squares. As a result of traverse program calculates are Travers errors: Angular, relative and growth errors.


4. Question: Does your ground surface creation model can produce 3D surface and calculate surface cut off volumes?

 
Answer:
Yes, our GeoMap as plug-in includes functionality to draw 3D surfaces and calculate cut off volumes. With GeoMap Standalone Application you can automatically create surfaces and draw contours for topographical plans.


5. Question: What advantage does surveyor get from GeoRaster?

 

Answer: GeoRaster is one of GeoMap modules. This module is designed for surveyors to work with scanned, aerial photography maps and other types of rasters. Surveyor does not need any additional application for processing images.


6. Question: Where I can find GeoMap Demo Version.

 

Answer: All GeoMap demo versions (with some functional limitation) is available on our site www.infoera.lt.
