No software is required, simply login using any PC with Internet Explorer and instantly access your data.

How it works

To monitor each vehicle, ViaEta uses an onboard device containing a GPS receiver and a GPRS communication module. The device is connected to the vehicle battery (12V). Power consumption is very low.

All data collected in the vehicle, either from the GPS or ignition, are transmitted to the ViaEta every 2 minutes (or other interval) via GSM/GPRS. Users can also issue a position request at any time, regardless of the automatic data transmission period. The ViaEta is a set of computer servers on the internet, dedicated exclusively to registering and processing the data coming from the vehicles.

Data gathered includes position, speed, direction and ignition status. The same data is used to create reports.

Viewing information, reports and alarms

Using a web browser (e.g. internet explorer), you can access the ViaEta (http://viaeta.infoera.lt) and view all the information. You can view the vehicles positions on the map and analyse speed and ignition data using maps and tables.
